WHAT AM I? by Russ McKay

No one can tell about how I look
‘Cause I’ve NEVER been shown in anyone’s book
You can tell I’ve been there but you won’t know when
I love hiding in corners in the bedroom or den

The higher the better and I like to hang down
I leave ‘fore you’ll see me and I’ve NEVER been found
I’m not your average spider but a web I do leave
I’m not appreciated so I like to deceive
.
The world’s good housekeepers all know my name
It’s mostly from them that I got all my fame
Can you guess what mysterious creature I may be?
Here’s a hint: I’m an “IT”…not a He or a She

Guessing what I am is such a tough job
So now I will tell you: In fact I’m a “COB”
