I want to tell you what I found
It was lying right there on the ground
A funny shaped vase
And inside was a face
That was looking out and making a sound
I put my ear to the lid
And I heard a voice say “Hi…I’m Sid!”
“Please lift up the top”
Sid jumped out with a “pop”
And boy am I glad that he did
He said he’d been trapped many a year
He then shed a grateful tear
He was glad I came ’round
And that he was found
Not being found was a huge fear
Sid then said one wish he’d bestow
And then I must let him go
I thought and I thought
But a wish I had naught
