The Fly On The Wall by russ mckay

I’m the fly on the wall

And I hear and see all

Like, when you’re yellin’

And though I’m not tellin’

I would and I could since I saw

But I really can’t speak for myself

And I have to fly like a stealth

‘Cause if I start buzzin’

I’ll get squashed like my cousin

That fly’s knowledge was wealth

So I decided to write this poem

To readers and I don’t even know’em

I’ll tell what you did

You really loud kid

If you don’t have wings, better grow’em

I’ll tell ’bout the day that you hid

Your brother’s toy under the bed

And that time you weren’t sick

It was all just a trick

To stay home from school instead

And there’s lots more that I know about you

I could tell things and make your parents turn blue

Like the time you spilled ink

And made your Dad and Mom think

It was caused by your cat ” Boogaloo”

So I’ll just stay a wall squatter

Ah…. what’s that in your hand…a fly swatter?

I’m sorry to say

That I must fly away

Whoosh!

“THAT TIME I GOT ‘ER!”
