I want to be a poet and write a rhyme
And I think I’ll do it all the time
I’ll write about kids and cars and cats
And bugs and airplanes and funny hats
I’ll write rhymes about ‘most everything
That are always worth remembering
To write poetry I have a real great need
But first I must learn how to read
