Boomer looks like a border collie
He’s sometimes sad and sometimes jollie
His fur is the color of cinnamon
That dog sure loves to have BIG fun
But Boomer has a problem small
His tail is almost none at all
He chases it but that’s for naught
After all the chasing it’s never been caught
Boomer tries to sneak up on it
But he soon tires out and has to quit
You’d think that after trying for months
He would at LEAST have caught it once
I asked Boomer why he doesn’t give up
“Cause I’ve chased it since I was a pup”
But Boomer doesn’t chase his tail for fun
He thinks it’ll taste like a cinnamon bun
