They named their first born Billy
And ‘though it seems rather silly
As Mountain goats go
He was stumbling and slow
Billy just couldn’t stand on hills hilly
His mother was still very proud
While his father was still very loud
They were trying to raise
Billy’s confidence with praise
But he just couldn’t keep up with the crowd
Billy leapt around hills unafraid
His legs covered by one huge Band Aid
He would slip, trip and stumble
Other goats heard him mumble
He just couldn’t make the grade
So finally his parents agreed
There was an urgent need
With injuries mountin’
“Get him off of this mountain!!!”
A warning he’d sure have to heed
Well the years for the kid they went by
Billy never would climb…didn’t try
Wed a cute nanny named Sally
Bought land in the Valley
Watched his land values soar to the sky!!!
Billy never again slipped and fell
In fact he’s now doing quite well
He’s got wealth beyond countin’
Bought his Mom and Dad their own mountain
‘Cause he left the Hill for the Dell
