Oh, finger painting I love

But I should paint with a glove

More gets on my feet

Than my art paper sheet

And I’m splattered below and above

I also get paint in my hair

And if my pretty paint smock weren’t there

My dress that is blue

 Would be red and green too

‘Though I try to take the most care

Our art group toured the museum

The artists there…I’d like to be ’em

Great Masters so skilled

We were all thrilled

But finger paint art?

Didn’t see ’em!
