I close my eyes and I can be

A sailor sailing on the sea

I cover my ears and I can’t hear

A thunder storm that’s growing near

I close my mouth and cannot say

An unkind word all the day

But I won’t see beauty all around

Nor will I hear a wonderful sound

And I can’t speak one kind word

And all of that would be absurd
