Daddy said he’s glad to see
The way that I helped my Mommy
After dinner was done
I was the one
Who made the plates clean as could be
Of course Mom put them in the machine
She added soap to make sure they got clean
And ‘though I did try
I could not reach that high
And that far I just could not lean
After all I am just three
But I’m helpful as I can be
I didn’t do nothin’
I helped push the button
And my Daddy is proud of me
