Synonyms and Homonyms
I am so confused
Not sure about the meanings
Not sure how they are used
One means the same thing as the other
But the other sounds the same
I use examples all the time
But I’m not sure which name
When I read the word “reed”
Or words like “him” and “hymn”
And I write the word “right”
I know they’re all “onym”
I do know how to spell ‘em
By the sentence that they’re in
And it’s easy to pronounce them
But I’m not sure “Hom” or “Syn”
And ravel and unravel
Both meanings are the same
Flammable…Inflammable
Is this someone’s silly game?
I thought that Math was difficult
But English is harder still
And when it comes to all these “Nyms”
I have had my Phil
